So...living at home with the parents is nice. I dont care what anyone thinks. My parents are going to have to kick me out.

I have a warm meal every night. I dont even have to wash the dishes. Laundry folded and pressed once every 2 weeks. Basic cable. Internet. A nice van to drive. And occasionally i get lunch money. Very nice.

daily routine:
sleep by 11 pm ...up at 6 am
at work by 7:45 am
leave work by 6:30 pm
home by 7 pm
dinner by 8 pm
watch (prison break/Lost/Everybody Hates Chris/CSI) depending on the day by 9pm

Its been over a year since i have commented on this xanga thing. (this is for you joe) Alot has changed since then. People have changed alot since then. I think the most drastic change that I have not yet gotten used to is the distance. After literally hanging out with the same group of dudes (mike,phil, ryan, andy, alf) for the past 4 years of my life (2 for alf but it seems like 4 neways), it hasn't really hit me that its over...till now.

We lived together, we did stupid things, we partied, we drank, we smoked hookah, we cooked, we partied some more, we started a frat, we ate, we struggled, for 4 years and now we barely even talk. Its not any of our faults but rather time and distance is to blame. We have gotten older and gone our seperate ways. It will be very hard to get us all in one place again, I guess i took it for granted.

This also applies to my davis girls as well. Who were at one point only a minutes walk away, now it takes a huge organizational effort to get us together, but alas these attempts resemble FEMA during the days after katrina...Its not our individual faults, its life driving us farther apart. Its grad school, its your job at ________ company/inc/and associates(you fill in the blank), its the 1, 2, 3+ hour drive through fuckin traffic on 680/880/80.

Its not just Davis people, its people i knew in high school which i used to hang out with when visited cupertino. You know who you are. You guys are like millions of miles away freakin oceans are between us. I aint that good a swimmer.

You may be askin what spawned this entry:
So, after a long 10 hour day of work on friday, I wanted to go out. After 2 failed attempts i had exhuasted the number of people that i knew were around cupertino...i realized that my situation was pretty sad. So I sat alone at the local starbucks for an hour watchin people "hangin out". THere is a lot of that going on at starbucks. And it so happens that the table next to me is a group of high school friends reuniting. They are laughing having a good time reminscing about the stupid stuff they did when they were younger. They were only slightly older than me i htink i over heard some chick say she was 24. The whole scene depressed me even more. So i lit up a cigarette. I guess what im trying to say is before i had no time to hang out cause i was too busy, and now that my life is so routine I have alot of gaps to fill with some much needed friends, but very few of you are left.

only 3 more weeks till my summer is over. then its back to the scorching hot desert some would call "davis"..i think much of california is a desert but thanks to modern day irriagation we have healthy farm lands. its strange sometimes when im home it feels like the days are actually longer than when im in davis. its like a black hole one minute im moving into the dorms the next im going to enter my third year of college. we still dont have housing but i think if its going to happen its going to happen within the next month. so by then hopefully we have a suitable home. ne one got a place let me or 2065 know. im kinda annoyed but im not sure why...maybe its hte hot weather but im annoyed...every little thing annoys me like the fact that everyone is out having fun and im not...in fact i have spent the latter part of the weekend at home not doing nething. im so annoyed that i spent all weekend playing nba street and not having ne one to talk to.shit i just wanted to go out and have some coffee and talk about life so i had to resort to this xanga shiet...some sorry excuse to not doing what you are suppose to do but instead waste some time displaying whining and bitchin.

there is alot worse things taht could happen to you so quit your whining and bitching. take my brother mike for example.. he gets to spend the next 2 years in arizona boarding school sounds fun huh. away from all yoru friends...your alcohol..your parties...your smoking...yoru clubs...your family. now wat do you have now we will see what you are made of...no contact with the outside world except thourgh written letters that are sent out once a week. you think you got it bad its almosdt like going to jail except for the ass raping part...well im not sure casue its an all boys school.. but on the serious side i do feel sorry for him..like i let him down. all my life i always tried to help him its like i failed him as a brother. we dont talk much but i wish we did talk more now who knows what kind of person he will become when he gets back. i hope everything is ok..miek if you ever see this know that i am prayin for you man.

so shiet you think you got it bad you think school suck or your summer is boring...fucking take a good look and be thankful for what you got people always bitch and whine(me included) about what they never acheived or i could have or i should have...fuck seize the moment like its yoru last...spend time with yoru loved ones your family...your friends...fuck make a difference...fuck ADD. see you in 5 weeks keep your head up.

i hate when people are having a good time when you feel like shiet. makes you feel worse... like its you against the world.

I feel old. So last week i was told that i look like an old...now to some this may be good if they are trying to get into clubs or buy alcohol....but this "old" was more like "old man" old..like married, middle age crisis old. When i went to the barber a few weeks before instead of the usual zero and fade...i asked for an old mans hair cut(yes in those exact words) its obvious that i had to elaborate cause the barber gave me a blank stare. Neways i just feel old.

I started working at this company in san jose. Basicaly i sit in a cubicle all day and program or at least try to program, see i really dont understand nething so i have to learn from scratch. For those of you who dont know...i read a book and apply it to this project that my boss wants me to finish in 7 weeks. its not taht bad except that i vowed to never end up in a cubicle working 9-5.apparently no one works 9-5 its more like 9-9 but in my case its 9-7.

Even though i may feel old to my peers and friends i feel really young and stoopid at work. I know in the back of their minds they just see me as a stoopid ignorant imature kid that acts like he knows what he is doing.

So basically i work in this cubicle and my neighbors(as in i share a cubicle wall with) adjacent and opposite of me are like middle aged men who have kids only a few years younger than me. I feel bad cause i can only imagine the loathing they must have for some cocky college student working in the same area...having the same cubicle office that they have earned by going to years and year of experience and school.(i would hate myself too)

YOu wonder why your parents go through midlife crisis..its cause of these young yuppies coming in thinking they can get ahead in life thinking they know everything...those cocky mf dont know shiet.(referring to me)

Neways i just got kinda depressed cause this is sort of a crystal ball into my future...is this how im going to end up in 2 or 3 years working in a cubicle making a shitty ass salary of 80 to 100 k. is this wat im going to be becoem some middle age man pissed off at a smart ass college student opposite my grey 8x8 cubicle?

So neways it seems to be the same everywhere. i just talked to brendan today and he feels pretty much the same way.shitty. its hard work and we are stoopid interns taht dont know shiet.there has got to be some kind of loop hole. i keep asking him "how can we make some money" i dont want to do this kinda shiet job getting paid some shietty ass salary.

if anyone has some ideas im open to some suggestions. and no girls gone wild we already thought of it..we are going to do that as a hobby as a side job.

neways as i was saying...i feel old. people seem to out having fun chilling with friends and partying drinking clubbin shiet like that...just doesnt cut it for me nemore.dont get me wrong i still need some of that to cut loose from the stress of the world, but it doesnt have its flare nemore...im not so into it nemore not taht i ever was that into it but its not as appealing. its depressing cuase i know you are only young once and we should make the best of it and have fun but its not the same. i think its frivolous..i think the most common words i hear from people is "im bored"...millions and millions of teenagers are bored and im sure the older generation is bored too...what is it that quenches our thirst for excitement what is it that will suffice i desire of not being bored!

well since im at work and "im bored" and have nothin to do i start to search the web...i actually use the web to learn stuff...ooh new concept you acutally use the internet to enlighten yourself...you come to realize that you have so much shiet that you dont know and should learn just to better yourself... like today i caught up on current events..i read about plasma tvs(thinking about gettin one) the diff between the other flat tvs non crt tvs and car stereos like how to tell if its a good stereo or not shiet like taht. liek common sense stuff that would help you make the right decisions in life. its pretty interesting...if i was not confined in a cube all dayh i would say..."dood my summer is so boring" and not do nething meaningful to change it..but since i have nothing to do i actually start to do something..strange isnt it....

if you have read down to here you must have a pretty good attention span..

neways i have come to realize that number 1 i feel old (parties dont entice me nemore) 2 if you are bored go learn something interesting and apply it

3 get rich fast...(this last one is important) have yet to accomplish but hopefully this will become a reality in the near future.

gotta stop chilling...instead build relationships taht benifit both of us in the future...

lets build a relationship taht can make us rich
